Each consultation brings the art and science of these practices to you in an easy to understand manner.

By working with your personal objectives, with the orientation of your land and home, with the bagua an ancient Chinese tool, and with the 5 elements found in nature — water, wood, fire, earth and metal — Feng Shui Connections helps you to energetically balance your home so that it supports and enhances your life. The energy of your land is considered in each consultation. The shape and contour of your land has a significant impact on your daily life. It is even more important than the inside of your home. Since you enter and exit from it every day, it has a profound impact on your attitudes, your personal energy patterns and your chi. In addition to looking beautiful, the right landscaping will encourage beneficial ch'i flow, help to strengthen irregularities in your plot (such as slopes or odd shapes), balance the energies around your house and in your gardens and support your intentions and objectives. Real Estate Services

We've all had the experience of walking into a building and immediately feeling welcomed, safe and "at home." Buyer's Inspection
We will visit a property you are interested in and analyze the flow of ch'i in the neighborhood, on the property and in the building, based on your goals and lifestyle. We'll identify potential blockages and detrimental ch'i and provide options for addressing problem areas. We can also provide an Indoor Air Quality and/or an EMF assessment. You won't have to worry about "buyer's remorse" with a Feng Shui Connections Buyer's Inspection!

Seller's Consultation
If you are planning to sell your home or business, it's never too soon to have Feng Shui Connections provide an analysis of what improvements you can make to be sure to attract the right buyer. We will help you balance and harmonize Yin and Yang energies and the Five Elements so that prospective buyers will immediately feel welcome and at ease on your property.

Agent's Consultation
Do you have a property that has been sitting on the market for a long time? Feng Shui Connections can help you move stagnant properties or properties where the owner has little or no incentive to make improvements. We will visit the property with you to identify and prioritize the action items that are most likely to shift the energy and attract the right buyer.

New Homeowner's Consultation
If you have already purchased (or leased) your new home or office, Feng Shui Connections can help ensure that your new environment fully supports you. We assist with furniture placement, color selection, window treatments, architectural modifications, and landscaping. We will also evaluate it for Indoor Air Quality and EMFs. Your new relationship with your home or office is just as important as the relationships between you and your family members or staff, so why not start out right with a balanced and harmonious environment!

Every aspect of your life is reflected in your space. In addition, your possessions absorb the energy of the events that take place in the space. Have you acquired new furniture or made changes? Colors also have particular energies and help set the tone for a space.

A consultation helps you to understand the patterns and make appropriate adjustments. Consultations are done in person and also long distance via telephone. Short phone consultations and feng shui "tune ups" can also be arranged.

What you can expect from a Feng Shui Consultation:

• We schedule an on-site consultation upon receipt of questionnaire and floor plan, typically within 2 weeks of your call.
• Provide a fee estimate based on size of space and services required.
• Analyze your questionnaire and floor plan in advance of visit.
• Walk through your home and yard, assess energy levels and  the use of space and possessions, art, etc.
• Evaluate your bedroom for EMFs and unbeneficial earth energies.
• Take pictures (with your permission) for later comparison.
• Educate you about feng shui, how it works and aspects which may affect your chi (energy).
• Identify chi blockages in your space and provide suggestions to alleviate them.
• Discuss potential enhancements and specific adjustments that are unique to your situation, lifestyle and objectives.
• Answer follow-up questions via phone and email.
• Maintain complete confidentiality.

The Residential Client:

• Completes a Feng Shui Connections questionnaire prior to site visit.
• Provides a floor plan to Feng Shui Connections prior to site visit.
• Receives permission for a consultation from all adults living in the space.
• Provides payment and 9 red envelopes upon completion of consultation.

Onsite time required:

• 3-4 hours for the average home

The red envelope. A special way to acknowledge the power and sacredness of our energy exchange.
The use of a red envelope to pay your Feng Shui practitioner is an old tradition originating in China. This practice is prevalent to this day even with many modern Feng Shui consultants in the west. The red envelope is symbolic of the energy that is exchanged during a Feng Shui consultation, honoring the integrity and the value of the information the practitioner has shared with you. It also helps to ensure good fortune for you by completing the circle of giving and increasing the strength and effectiveness of each cure provided to you. You can purchase red envelopes in Chinatown, in any stationery store, or you can simply make one.

Place your payment in a red envelope and have it ready prior to your Feng Shui consultation. Please offer it to your Feng Shui practitioner at the end of your consultation.

Long Distance Consultations

Although an onsite consultation is preferred, we recognize that everyone does not have access to a local feng shui practitioner. In addition, not everyone is comfortable inviting a practitioner to come to your home or office. It's a personal choice. Therefore, Feng Shui Connections provides long distance consultations to assist people who are ready to learn more about what they can do to enhance the energy and flow of their environment.

The Process for Long Distance Consultations

• We provide a price based on size of space and services required.
• Schedule a telephone consultation (1 1/2 hours) upon receipt of questionnaire, floor plan and photos typically within 1-2 weeks of your call.
• Analyze your questionnaire, floor plan and photos in advance.
• Educate you about feng shui and how it works throughout your space and property.
• Discuss observations about your space, asks questions about the use of space and possessions, art, etc.
• Discuss blockages in your space and provides suggestions for removal.
• Discuss potential enhancements and specific cures unique to your situation and objectives.
• Prepare a written report with specific action items and provides it to you within 5 business days.
• Answer follow-up questions via phone and email.
• Maintain confidentiality.

The Client:

• Completes a Feng Shui Connections questionnaire prior to phone consultation.
• Provides a floor plan and detailed photos to Shui Connections in advance.
• Receives permission for a consultation from all adults living in the space.
• Initiates the consultation call to Feng Shui Connections.
• Provides payment in a red envelope prior to the consultation.
